Geomagical Labs is creating 3D spatial computing experiences for millions of users around the world, in partnership with IKEA. Our pioneering 3D apps allow customers to scan photorealistic models of their spaces, then reimagine their spaces in life-like 3D, from anywhere, changing home commerce along the way.
About the role
We have an opening for a QA lead to join the Web team and drive a best-in-class mixed reality room decoration experience for millions of users. The Web team is responsible for all aspects of the web-based 3D decoration experience - including 3D asset quality, rendering quality & performance, and e-commerce outcomes like customer checkout. We work closely with design, AI, graphics and platform teams to create highly visual experiences from the ground up.
In this role, you will
- Have an opportunity to work on a dynamic team of successful serial entrepreneurs, software developers, AI researchers, and graphics engineers
- Deliver first-to-market, photorealistic, mixed-reality design products to millions of people
- Work with the latest tools and technologies - like TypeScript and Playwright
- Build and execute test plans for new features, new integrations, and new markets
- Partner with design and engineering teams to plan, test, and deploy elegant solution for complex problems
- Drive the quality assurance strategy for the web team
Requirements
- 4+ years testing production web applications
- Ability to work independently and drive work to completion
- Experience testing graphics-based applications
- Experience with cross browser and multiple device testing
- Attention to detail with a willingness to ask the tough questions
Nice to have
- Experience with leading a team or test contractors
- Experience with test case management tools (eg: TestRail)
- Experience with AR/VR or other mixed reality projects
- Strong visual aesthetic to partner with the design team
- Eager to grow and lead a team as the company grows

- The USA base salary for this full-time position ranges from $85,000 to $180,000 determined by location, role, skill, and experience level
