SAIT's dynamic Marketing team leads the institutional Marketing and Recruitment Plan, manages brand, marketing and recruitment initiatives, and operates key digital marketing channels.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Strategy, you will be part of a dynamic, cross-functional marketing team that creates and executes integrated marketing plans, upholds the SAIT brand, and promotes UX and CX best practices.
The Web & Analytics Coordinator is a digital-savvy marketer who is experienced in creating positive and frictionless web experiences for target users. You have an acute eye for detail, an established understanding of best practices in writing for web and search engine optimization, and a natural talent for organizing complex information in a clear and logical way.
You will develop and maintain a deep understanding of SAIT programs, stakeholder priorities, and prospective student and client needs to identify opportunities for online conversion. Utilizing your analytical perspective, you will ensure digital initiatives are continuously tracked, measured, evaluated, and adapted. You will report on progress to team members and other stakeholders and provide recommendations for improvement.
You enjoy getting into the weeds and building, editing, and auditing websites page-by-page based on data. You can put on your customer service hat and triage and complete web update requests, demonstrating your exceptional communication skills and ability to cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. Bonus points if you have experience working in proprietary and SaaS CMS platforms, supporting large web properties catering to several different target users.

The Role
- Digital content planning and management
- Develop, edit and maintain web content, including text, images, and video on SAIT’s official websites to ensure information is clear, up-to-date and accurate.
- Ensure brand consistency and use of SAIT voice and tone across web platforms.
- Ensure content and pages utilize best practices in search engine optimization and AODA.
- Interaction design
- Working closely with developers and UX team members, iterate site architecture, design and functionality to create frictionless web experiences for target users.
- Create and/or revise landing pages, site sections and microsites in support of marketing campaigns and stakeholder objectives.
- Analytics and insights
- Monitor web and campaign performance and provide reports as needed, including recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with the Insights and Analytics Specialist to perform keyword research in support of on-page SEO and implement recommendations.
- Client services
- Provide training and support on the CMS for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all seniority levels to source and verify content, build copy and creative.
- Ensure project planning includes stakeholder input and considerations.
- Take a customer-centered approach in all aspects of work, with a focus on transparency and inclusion.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience

Minimum:
- Degree or diploma in business, marketing, web or information management.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in strategic web marketing and communications.
- Preferred
- Experience working with proprietary and SaaS CMS platforms is considered an asset.
- Qualifications, Certifications or Designations
- Analytics certifications are strongly recommended.
- UX interaction design or content certifications are strongly recommended.
Skills Required
- Demonstrated ability to write and edit for online platforms and websites, adhering to organizational voice and style.
- Foundational skills in interaction design (page flows, information architecture and navigation)
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics or equivalent web reporting platforms.
- Superior collaboration and communication skills – cultivates positive relationships with stakeholders at various seniority levels.
- Prioritization and client services skills – able to manage multiple projects and tasks and deliver on deadlines.
- Foundational visual design skills are considered an asset, including working level-skills with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Working-level skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
