Web Analytics Specialist

The role

We are on the lookout for an experienced Web Analyst to join our Web Analytics team at Better Collective, one of the most modern, ambitious and fast-growing tech companies! The team has a key role in ensuring our products offer a great user experience, and perform at their best, and as our new Web Analytics Specialist, you will be focusing on ensuring the data quality on our top-performing and core brand websites.

The portfolio of sites counts more than 20 major brands such as bettingexpert.com, vegasinsider.com, betarades.gr, rotogrinders.com, hltv.com, and many more.

Job description 

• Implementing Google Analytics 4, Marfeel Compass, and Google Tag Manager to track website user behaviour across the portfolio of Better Collective websites
• Defining and developing measurement plans based on a site’s KPIs, in close collaboration with site owners
• Setting up the defined measurement plans, including creating custom events through Google Tag Manager
• Applying JavaScript in the implementation process
• Verifying the tracking is set up correctly, and events are tracking as they should
• Troubleshooting any issues or discrepancies that may show in our data reports
• Assisting site owners with advice on tracking in the case of a site migration, a site redesign or a site copy for example
