The Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Wealth Operations Manager with experience in wealth products (ISA/GIA/SIPP) to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be leading the day-to-day operations of one of our wealth operations teams with main focus on transfers and supporting our customers to make the most out of their investments with Plum.
What you’ll do
- Overseeing the daily operations of the team, ensuring efficient allocation, handling and processing of operational tasks and acting as an escalation point for their queries.
- Managing customer communication and complaints regarding wealth products effectively and ensuring that we are treating our customers fairly.
- Serving as a point of contact for other teams and external providers, attending and representing the team in relevant meetings.
- Ensuring that the team's processes and procedures are well mapped, documented and up-to-date.
- Identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
- Conducting effective 1:1 meetings, training, and coaching sessions, identifying skill gaps and arranging necessary training.
- Fostering a positive working environment and building strong relationships with other business units.
- Tracking the team’s KPIs and creating management reports and escalating issues to when trends affect team’s performance.
- Collaborating with Product and Tech teams to resolve issues, automate processes and improve internal tooling.
Ideally You
- Have 3 years experience (minimum) in a wealth operations or similar function, with minimum 2 years of experience in the leading capacity.
- Have excellent knowledge of ISA & pension regulations and reporting requirements.
- Have working experience of the CASS rules, particularly CASS 6 & 7
- Have experience of cash and stock reconciliations
- Have worked at a FinTech company in a fast paced environment.
