The Warehouse Specialist role involves receiving, storing, and distributing products while ensuring accurate inventory control and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Receiving and Inspection:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of orders.
- Inspect goods for quality, damage, and compliance with specifications.
- Document and report any discrepancies or issues.
Storage and Organization:
- Properly store goods in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Ensure that inventory is organized, labeled, and accessible.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Inventory Control:
- Regularly update and maintain inventory records using inventory management software
- Conduct cycle counts and periodic stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed.
Order Fulfillment:
- Prepare orders for shipment, including picking and packing products.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents and records in compliance with shipping regulations and procedures including international shipments and customs documentation.
- Prepare and analyze inventory and shipping reports.
- Ensure that orders are accurately filled and packaged.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and schedule pickups.
Quality Control:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet established standards.
- Handle returns and process them under company policies.
- Prepare and analyze inventory and shipping reports.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all team members follow safety guidelines.
- Comply with regulatory and company-specific standards.
Communication:
- Communicate any issues, delays, or concerns promptly.
- Facilitate a collaborative environment with team members, business and technical owners to establish a culture of trust, open communication and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements
- Job requires frequent bending, kneeling and standing
- Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Experience
- 3 + years proven experience in demand planning, replenishment, logistics or a related field.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs documentation
- Experience with shipping software and tools.
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Effective oral and written communications and people skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50lbs and stand for full shift.
- Lean Management experience (preferred)
- Spanish Speaking (preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in related position or equivalent combinations of education and related experience
