We are looking for a Contract Warehouse Production Associate to join our team. The goal of a Warehouse Production Associate at Wisk is to ensure an efficient Warehouse operation to meet the needs for our next generation aircraft in order to build the first fully autonomous all-electric aircraft that performs and operates safely in an urban air-mobility environment. In support of this goal, you will be part of the Supply Chain team that performs hands-on Warehouse work, assesses risk, and manages daily Warehouse operations with cross functional teams.
Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an onsite opportunity. You will be required to work from our Mountain View office.
Responsibilities:
- Pull, count and stock aircraft parts from inventory and organize into kits for production
- Assist in the development of part-kitting procedures
- Help with continuous improvement of procedures for mistake proofing and improving efficiency
- Be a superuser in material management modules of the ERP system: receiving, stocking, material movement and kitting
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years inventory control
- Able to read and understand bill of materials to build kits for assembly
- Experience in KANBAN, KAIZEN, and LEAN Manufacturing principles.
- Extreme attention to detail and continuous pursuit of improvement
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Strong team player
- Able to lift 50 pounds
