General Role Description

Manage warehouse operations for an international manufacturing facility

Role Accountabilities

-      Implement, manage, and monitor the processes for efficient warehouse operation

-      Identify opportunities, initiate and lead warehouse process improvement initiatives

-      Build and lead a team of committed and capable employees to ensure successful warehouse operations and inventory management

-      Monitor skill base and ensure effective training of staff

-      Manage the shipping, receiving, and stocking of parts, material, and equipment ensuring accurate and timely reporting in Oracle EBS

-      Establish standards to ensure stock integrity within the facility, and monitor compliance

-      Ensure the marshalling process supplies correct parts to the appropriate production area as scheduled

-      Ensure safe and timely delivery of parts, material, and equipment to other Company or 3rd party facilities

-      Generate reports to monitor transaction accuracy and workload distribution of warehouse operations

-      Monitor and implement US import and export regulations relevant to warehouse management

-      Ensure CTPAT security and other compliance requirements are met

-      Ensure cycle counts selections are counted accurately and timely, and results are reported to Inventory Control 

-   Ensure warehouse equipment receives regular maintenance and operating effectively and safely

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

-   HSD or equivalent

-   2 years’ experience in warehouse management

-   Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse systems

-   Demonstrated experience managing inventory levels of greater than $3.5M

-   Demonstrated success leading teams to accomplish business goals

-   Strong problem-solving skills

-   Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts

-   Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills

-   Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility

-   Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and an ERP

-   Availability to travel domestically, approximately 5%, sometimes on short notice

-   Valid driver’s license

-   Ability to lift 50 lbs.

-   Standup forklift driver experience

Preferred Qualifications

-   Associate’s degree or related field

-   5 years’ experience in warehouse management

-   Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Visio

-   Proficiency in Oracle

-   Certified forklift trainer

-   Demonstrated inventory control management experience
