The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Manager for our Distribution Center in Bjuv, Sweden. As Warehouse Manager you will take a lead in professionalizing our pre-production processes including intra-logistics, inventory management, material planning and reverse logistics.
You will…
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of 4 direct reports and more than 50 indirect reports, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement, manage, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with our Distribution Center (DC) standards, maintaining a food-safe and clean work environment.
- Provide all employees with the necessary tools, comprehensive training, and corrective guidance to perform their roles effectively.
- Lead and actively participate in process improvement initiatives, ensuring that projects are thoroughly completed with sustainable solutions.
- Ensure all projects are completed effectively, and no project is considered finished until the root cause of the problem is resolved.
- Monitor and contribute to the financial performance related to our outgoing empty load carriers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
You have…
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Warehouse Distribution or production, preferably in FMCG
- Proven experience in team leadership within production, manufacturing or distribution center
- The ability to dive deep into data and provide thought-provoking, workable business solutions.
- Strong people skills.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Bias for action and passion for rolling up sleeves and doing what it takes to “get it done”.
- Fluent in English and Swedish
