The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role includes managing warehouse staff, ensuring the safe and organized storage of products, optimizing space utilization, and ensuring that all processes and procedures are aligned with the company's operational standards. The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, meeting customer demands, and optimizing workflow to maximize efficiency
What You'll Focus On:
Warehouse Management
• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, testing, inventory management, and order fulfillment
• Ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of products
• Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring that the warehouse is well-stocked and organized
• Implement and enforce safety standards, protocols, and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Inventory Control
• Develop and maintain inventory control systems to ensure real-time tracking of goods and accurate inventory levels
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Implement inventory management best practices to minimize losses and shrinkage
Process Improvement
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Optimize the layout and space utilization of the warehouse for maximum operational efficiency
• Collaborate with other departments (procurement, logistics, customer service) to streamline processes and improve service levels
Experience in warehouse management with a strong focus on attention to detail and organization
Planning & Reporting & Compliance
• Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, including metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and staff performance.
• Manage budgets related to warehouse operations, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure the warehouse operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe work environment.
• Ensure all employees are trained on safety standards and local/state-specific requirements.
• Ensure adherence to local and state labor laws, including wage and hour regulations, overtime policies, and break times.
• Manage waste disposal processes to meet local environmental regulations.
• Maintain thorough records for regulatory inspections and audits
