Key responsibilities for the Warehouse Inventory Manager:
- Manage, motivate, and inspire a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring that all operations are undertaken safely and efficiently.
- Take ultimate responsibility of inventory to ensure that there is a robust process to ensure all items can be accounted for.
- Be a direct report to the site manager and deputise for them in periods of absence.
- Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure any inventory related issues are clearly understood.
Main Focus Areas for the Warehouse Inventory Manager:
- A good understanding of Health and Safety legislation, to ensure all manual handling operations are undertaken safely.
- Ensure that processes are in place to reduce and eradicate stock discrepancies.
- Ensure that stock reconciliation is undertaken to a highly consistent standard, in line with industry recognised standards.
- Ensure any stock discrepancies are immediately identified and thoroughly investigated.
- Ensure all requested stock is delivered to the hub within the prescribed SLA.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance.
- Ensure robust control measures are in place enabling accurate and timely reconciliation of all inventory transactions.
- Plan ahead to ensure adequate resource is available to meet fluctuations in demand.
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
Requirements

- Proven work experience as a Warehouse/inventory/stock control manager.
- Highly effective leadership skills and techniques.
- An advanced knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data.

- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- An all-round team player, willing to go the extra mile to delight our customers.
