Within Fender Musical Instrument Corporation’s (“FMIC”) global Manufacturing team, we are focused on delivering operational excellence to the business and our customers by promoting collaboration, building trust, and setting high standards.  Our mission is to support and enable the makers who fuel the pursuit of musical expression.  We are currently searching for an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our team in San Bernardino, CA.

The purpose of Warehouse Associate position is to work in a variety of functions within the Distribution Center, which includes unloading and loading shipments, scanning, merchandise handling of Fender products.

Essential Functions:

  • Reads work order or follows oral instructions to determine product to be pulled or stocked.
  • Loads/unloads and handles product onto or from pallets, bins, racks, and shelves by hand.
  • Load/unload trucks (with use of equipment and/or manually).
  • Conveys products from storage to designated loading area manually, or by use of warehouse equipment (ie: Electric Pallet Jack, Sit-down/Stand-up Forklift).
  • Count and pull product/parts from stock as needed or stock incoming product.
  • Deliver parts to departments as required.
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on boxes.
  • Assist with inventories.
  • Shrink wrapping, packing, loading duties as needed.
  • Work with RF scanner and SAP computer system.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Power Point Word and SAP or equivalent ERP system experience.
  • Ability to perform even when under work pressure, especially in times when shipment or inventory deliveries are forgotten or delayed.
  • Experience with operating warehouse equipment such as Electric Pallet Jack, Sit-down/Stand-up Forklift.
  • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and get them resolved.
