Wagering Marketing Manager

The Role 

This is a rare opportunity to lead the marketing team for one of WA's most iconic brands. We are searching for an experienced Marketing Manager who is an exceptional leader and has a passion for racing and/or sports. Operating in a competitive, highly regulated and fast-paced industry this is an opportunity to have real influence in shaping and growing the TABtouch and WA TAB brands. 

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Responsible for the strategic development, management and implementation of RWWA’s wagering marketing plan in alignment with the wagering strategy
  • Responsible for brand strategy, marketing creative, messaging and media plans
  • Responsible for end-to-end campaign planning and management
  • Support the relationship with RWWA’s accredited advertising agency, research agency and media partners.
  • Lead and inspire a high performing team

About You 

  • Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in leading high performing marketing teams
  • Planning and measuring large marketing budgets including attribution modelling
  • Ability to supervise and motivate staff in order to achieve goals.
  • Ability to derive insights from complex data sets to recommend improvements to business operations.
  • Demonstrated promotional and campaign execution skills, including the ability to conceptualise and implement successful marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry, desirable
  • Experience in sport or racing with an understanding of wagering, desirable
