VP, Transformation Program Management

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join Sinch as the Vice President of the Transformation Program Management Office (PMO). In this role, you will lead all aspects of Sinch's transformation initiatives, providing strategic direction and ensuring their seamless orchestration and meticulous execution. With your expertise in both business and technology, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing world-class, global programs that will propel Sinch to new heights!  

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and frameworks for aligned transformation programs across regions.
  • Collaborate with senior executives and internal partners to craft a clear vision and strategy for transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with Sinch's overarching goals and objectives.
  • Establish and enforce governance processes and standards for effective program management.
  • Allocate and manage resources, including project managers, outside conultancy firms, analysts, and support staff for successful program management.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and challenges impacting program delivery. Develop contingency plans and proactive strategies to address potential challenges.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key collaborators, including executives, department heads, and project sponsors for alignment and support.
  • Embrace cultural sensitivity, adapting management and communication to engage effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
  • Optimize resource allocation considering local expertise, language proficiency, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed and develop strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with international regulations and standards relevant to global operations.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the progress, efficiency, and impact of programs. Regularly communicate updates to senior management.
  • Formulate and implement change management strategies to facilitate the successful adoption and integration of transformation initiatives throughout the global organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement and implement proven methodologies for optimal program outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in leading large-scale transformation initiatives in complex organizational structures and diverse cultural environments.
  • Extensive knowledge in global program management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, inspiring and motivating global virtual teams.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities across all organization levels.
  • Strategic thinker adept at translating business objectives into actionable plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven focus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of global operations and cross-border collaborations.
  • Proven success in effectively leading transformation initiatives within multinational companies, demonstrating an understanding of global business dynamics and complexities.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones, often outside of ‘usual’ business hours, and willingness to travel internationally, as needed.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $217,000-326,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

*Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired in Colorado.
