VP, Talent Acquisition

As VP, Talent Acquisition based in San Francisco, you will be responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies to support Odaseva’s growth objectives worldwide. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will lead a high-performing team and collaborate with stakeholders across North America, EMEA, and APAC to attract, engage, and retain top talent.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Talent Acquisition Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy that aligns with Odaseva’s objectives and growth strategy.
    Identify and assess emerging talent acquisition trends and best practices to ensure a competitive edge in the market.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
  • Lead and mentor a global team of recruiters and talent acquisition specialists.
    Set performance goals and provide guidance, feedback, and development opportunities to the talent acquisition team.
  • Recruitment:
  • Process and Operations:Design and optimize recruitment processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and a positive experience.
    Oversee the use of recruitment technologies to streamline processes and track key metrics.
  • Salary Offers:  
  • Oversee the process of building salary offers for new hires and promotions. 
    Ensure offers are consistent with Odaseva’s compensation strategy and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Employer Branding:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and promote Odaseva branding initiatives that attract top talent.
    Represent Odaseva at events, career fairs, and other recruitment-related activities.
  • Collaboration:
  • Partner with stream leaders and the People & Culture team to understand hiring needs and develop customized recruitment strategies.
    Work closely with the People & Culture team to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new hires.
    Work closely with the Compensation team to ensure that salary offers, compensation packages, and benefits are competitive, equitable, and aligned with Odaseva policies and market trends.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:
  • Promote diversity, equity and inclusion in all talent acquisition activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across the globe.
    Implement initiatives to attract and retain a diverse talent pool.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making:
  • Use data analytics to track and measure recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire.
    Provide regular reports and insights to Chief People Officer on talent acquisition performance and trends.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance and global employment laws, regulations, and company policies related to recruitment and hiring.
    Manage risk in the recruitment process, including background checks and other pre-employment screenings.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.  
  • 15+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in a global or multi-regional environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, interpersonal and decision-making skills.
  • Deep understanding of talent acquisition trends and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment technology and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to work in a a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working in a diverse and multicultural environment.
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus
