We’re looking for a VP of R&D to lead and grow our engineering team across all Mixtiles products—Photos, Plants, Lights, and AR home design. This role is about building great technology that makes our products simple, scalable, and delightful to use. The goal: Build a top-tier engineering team that delivers outstanding products. We want our technology to be as simple and reliable as our products feel to customers. That means strong engineering, fast execution, and a team of talented people who work well together. Your job is to ensure we have the right people, structure, and processes to keep building great products at scale while constantly exploring new technologies like AI, AR, and robotics to push our products forward.
In this role you will

Lead all technical areas—software, hardware, AI, and robotics—ensuring they work together seamlessly.

Build and mentor a strong engineering team, focusing on execution speed and technical excellence.

Define and own the technical roadmap, making smart trade-offs between speed and quality.

Solve tough technical challenges—from user experience to scalable automation in manufacturing.

Explore and integrate new technologies that can elevate our products and customer experience.
