General Summary:
ConnectWise is at the forefront of helping MSPs profitably scale and achieve their most ambitious goals. As the VP of Product Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in creating and shaping a new market category that redefines how MSPs leverage technology. This is a unique opportunity to drive the go-to-market strategy, lead positioning efforts, and build a compelling narrative around ConnectWise’s innovative platform as we expand our leadership in the MSP space. You will work cross-functionally to ensure consistent messaging, build demand, and make a significant impact in a rapidly growing market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Positioning & Messaging: Own and drive the product positioning strategy, ensuring clear, consistent messaging that resonates with our target market and internal teams, grounded in customer insights.

Go-to-Market Leadership: Define and set go-to-market priorities with product and sales, aligning launch plans with business goals and supporting a product-led growth strategy.

Product-Led Growth: Champion a product-led growth strategy, ensuring our product is at the center of customer acquisition and expansion efforts.

Website & Digital Strategy: Ensure the website and digital presence clearly reflect product positioning and go-to-market priorities, serving as a key driver of demand.

Customer Insights: Lead efforts to deeply understand customer needs and pain points, using insights to refine product positioning and go-to-market strategies.

Product Launches: Develop and execute a simple, scalable product launch process that includes a robust communication strategy to engage both internal teams and the market.

Pricing, Packaging, and Promotions: Develop and execute strategies for pricing, packaging, and promotions to maximize revenue growth and customer adoption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and customer success, to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.

Competitive Intelligence: Own competitive intelligence efforts, analyzing market trends and competitors to keep ConnectWise ahead of market changes, and develop win-loss analysis and competitive battle-cards.

Data-Driven Marketing: Leverage data and analytics to track the effectiveness of product marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies to improve performance across key metrics.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the product marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

Marketectures: Translate complex technical and business processes into easy-to-understand marketectures that resonate with both technical and business audiences.
What you bring to the role:
- 12+ years of experience as a respected leader, including at the Director level, in building and executing product marketing launch plans
- Developing go-to-market product and platform strategies for growth-stage SaaS companies and/or MSP's (SaaS required, MSP good to have)
- A proven track record of prioritizing and delivering results within an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated success in highly collaborative partnerships with other marketing and product management leaders
- Experience designing and executing multi-touch, integrated product launch plans
- Detail-oriented, strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to synthesize raw data into actionable optimization strategies for new and existing initiatives
- Exceptional leadership skills to work across the organization and get things done
- Creativity to build innovative programs that engage the company's Partners and optimize product marketing budgets
- Strong understanding of product marketing metrics
- Experience managing a product marketing team across different geographies is required for this role
Working Conditions:
- Remote or Hybrid depending on Location
- 10-20% travel required
