About the Opportunity: As our VP Product Management - Data, you will be the key leader in delivering Sagent’s promise of a modern, data-driven future for loan servicing. You have deep experience in enterprise transformations at FinTech/Saas or Financial services companies. Reporting into the SVP Product, your mantra will be to push the limits, deliver on stretch goals and create the premier data platform and products in the market.

Your Day-to-Day at Sagent:
• Are experienced in delivering high-quality, ready for primetime data as a product
• Deliver results while also placing bets that lead to break-through innovations
• Are comfortable with new and leading-edge technologies
• Are well versed in modern product development, modern product management, and product/design-led ways of working
• Are able to communicate vision, strategy, and tactics at the appropriate level, managing stakeholders from C-level to client to teammate
• Are able to assess market opportunities, using available data to validate your products’ value proposition(s)
• Are familiar with the role of data platform in digital modernization and transformation of legacy technologies
• Are able to prove the value of data products and standardization to serve your consumption archetypes and their prioritized use cases
• Can assemble a team of expert data product humans who are excited about their role in changing the world as we know it
• Expertly partner with data engineering leaders, architects, modelers, and platform engineers to rally them around vision and strategy
• Support API and events-driven microservices-focused partners to provide the ability for rapid development by internal and external stakeholders
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
• Master’s degree in business, computer science, or related field required (bachelors with compensating experience also acceptable)
• 8+ years in product management, data product, digital product, or related field with a high concentration on fintech, SaaS, and/or financial services (preferably loan or mortgage servicing)
• Expert grasp on value/ opportunity assessment, prioritization, and end-to-end product management/ product operations in a modern product development lifecycle environment
• Expert understanding of how UX design can be applied in abstract or technical product arenas
• Ability to manage multiple teams of product managers and BA’s, driving to key objectives and delivering key results
• Experience working with onshore and offshore teams
• Travel required – 15% , primarily US domestic
