The Opportunity

As we focus on our next phase of growth we’re looking for a VP of People to support our Chief People office and helm our People functions, scaling our Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Business Partnering, Employee Relations, and Learning & Development. Your mission is to ensure our People functions are not just operationally excellent, but strategically aligned with our business goals and values. Supported by our global People & Talent Team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our company culture and drive engagement across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

What You’ll Be Doing

As the VP of People, you will:

  • Strategize and Lead:
    • Partner with the Chief People Officer to design and execute people strategies that align with our business objectives.
    • Champion initiatives that support our mission, culture, and values.
  • Oversee Talent Acquisition:
    • Lead the Head of Talent Acquisition to attract and hire the best talent, enhancing our employer brand and recruitment processes.
  • Manage People Operations:
    • Lead the Head of People Operations to build and maintain efficient people processes, ensure compliance, and optimize people systems and our partnering framework, as well as supporting our Reward function.
  • Foster Employee Relations:
    • Cultivate a positive workplace environment by addressing employee relations issues, promoting open communication, and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Drive Learning & Development:
    • Manage the Head of L&D to create impactful training programs and leadership development initiatives that foster continuous learning and growth and prepare Quantexa for our next stage of growth.
  • Lead and Develop Your Team:
    • Mentor and empower your People team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
  • Measure and Report:
    • Develop and monitor People metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of People strategies and initiatives, providing regular reports to the CPO.

Direct Reports

  • Head of Talent Acquisition: Focuses on recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Head of People Operations: Manages the whole employee lifecycle including HRIS, compliance, and operational processes, together with People Partners and Reward.
  • Head of Learning & Development (L&D): Designs and delivers training programs and management development and partners to ensure impact.

What You’ll Bring

  • Knowledge: Extensive experience in implementing advanced HR practices, with a demonstrated history of success in leadership roles within dynamic, fast-paced settings.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to roll-your-sleeves up when needed.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technologies.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
    • Strong analytical, project and change management skills.
    • An obsession for efficient and effective process creation, management and continuous improvement.
