The Team
The Auto Retail team’s goal is to create the world’s best car buying and financing experience with cutting-edge dealership retail software and a lending experience powered by AI. To do this, our team is focused on growing our business by developing new opportunities with top automotive OEMs and dealership groups. We're an analytical, outgoing team and are now ready to scale and grow Upstart Auto Retail to the next level with a leading product and great people.
The Role
As the Vice President of Marketing for Upstart Auto Retail, you will be responsible for helping drive the growth of our auto retail software platform to dealerships across the US.
In partnership with our executive management, sales and customer success teams, you will lead a significant part of Upstart's go-to-market strategy. You must have strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to understand our buyers and customers deeply to create differentiated product positioning and effective demand generation campaigns that accelerate growth with our sales team.

Position Location - This role is available in the following locations: San Mateo, Columbus, and Remote US
Time Zone Requirements - This team operates on the East/West Coast time zones.
Travel Requirements - This team has regular on-site collaboration sessions. These occur 5 days per Month/Quarter at one of our office locations. If you need to travel to make these meetups, Upstart will cover all travel related expenses.

At Upstart, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within this range: $204,000-$300,000. Your actual base pay will depend on your geographic location–with our “digital first” philosophy, Upstart uses compensation regions that vary depending on location. Individual pay is also determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
In addition, Upstart provides employees with target bonuses, equity compensation, and generous benefits packages (including medical, dental, vision, and 401k). Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
