About the role:
You will be part of the Global Marketing Team for InMobi across its consumer internet and enterprise platform businesses. InMobi’s Consumer Internet businesses include Glance (www.glance.com) the world’s largest lock screen platform, Roposo (www.roposo.com) a leading shoppertainment platform, 1Weather – one of the leading weather apps in the US and Nostra – a gaming platform. InMobi’s enterprise business includes InMobi Advertising – one among only a handful of companies globally that operate end-to-end ad tech stack. This includes a Demand Side Platform (DSP), InMobi Exchange and Supply Side Platform (SSP).
In your role, you will be working very closely with the global marketing heads and leadership teams, including CEOs of each of the businesses.
What you will own:

You will be the global custodian of the corporate brands – InMobi & Glance for the company and promote InMobi & Glance as global tech-driven enterprises for their various stakeholders.

You will define the positioning of the corporate brands and amplify the narrative through earned and owned media. You will own Public Relations and Employer Branding as part of this role

You will equip various teams such as Engineering, HR, Marketing, Sales, Corp Dev, Public Policy with corporate marketing assets that ensure consistency and adherence to corporate brand guidelines.

As the owner of Public Relations function as part of this role,

You will own the strategy, narrative and media relationships for InMobi and Glance globally, and will be responsible for shaping InMobi & Glance’s reputation in earned media across the world.

You will engage with major news organizations (online, print, broadcast) to promote InMobi & Glance’s leading position in their respective industries through announcements, contributed articles, interviews, participation in industry trend stories, awards submission etc.

You will manage the regional PR teams and engage with the global marketing team, the leadership team, and subject matter experts across product, marketing, technology, sales, customer success to uncover stories and proof points for pitching to journalists

You will develop and manage relationships with journalists, bloggers and influencers in order to secure opportunities to insert InMobi & Glance’s narratives into industry stories

You will take research and writing on technology generated by InMobi & Glance and turn it into stories and pitches that top journalists covering technology and business will be keen to write about

You will tap into insights and narratives created by InMobi & Glance to influence media outlets to write about technology developments, and insert executives' perspectives on them

You will maintain relationships with journalists to discover opportunities for inserting InMobi Group’s subject matter experts into stories.

You will be responsible for tracking and monitoring industry, competition and InMobi & Glance coverage on an ongoing basis, and publish newsletter capturing these coverages

You will work with journalists to handle PR crisis situations by working with leadership team, spokespersons and legal teams to craft our strategy and response

As the owner of employer branding under this role,

You will promote InMobi & Glance as an employer of choice to the talent ecosystem globally

You will work with the HR & Culture team to define our employer value proposition and create and execute an integrated communication strategy across social media, video, and other channels/ formats.

You will be responsible for tracking, monitoring and improving indicators for healthy employer branding
Who you are:
As the ideal candidate, you are a strategic thinker, an excellent writer and verbal communicator with a history of creating stories, leveraging media relationships, and delivering a polished pitch. Your knowledge of how new media and newsrooms work and the ability to understand how newsroom decision-makers think will also be advantageous. You should know the workings of technology and be comfortable synthesizing information from in-house research and writing, news coverage, financial reports and presentations from InMobi Group and other tech companies, and industry analyst reports.

10 – 15 years of work experience in PR / Brand Communications / Consulting / Storytelling

MBA or BA/BS in communications, journalism or public relations preferred.

Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communications and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage media, executives, and peers.

A self-reliant problem solver who can work independently and with multiple teams

Experience driving Corporate Communications & PR in ad tech and / or data industry is preferred

Strong interpersonal and collaborative team skills

Familiarity with PR platforms
