You’ll report to the VP of Marketing, and you’ll have ownership of one of our largest, most critical investments: organic and paid search marketing. It’s a function that’s been central to driving Viator’s extraordinary success: we last year sold $4B in experiences, took in nearly $800M in revenue, and grew at 49% YOY.
You’ll own:
You’ll partner most closely with:

The ideal leader will be innovative, collaborative, low-ego, and highly intelligent. You’ll have 15+ years of experience managing large-budget search programs, with expertise in bidding, targeting, keyword, data, and landing page strategy and optimization. You’ll speak the language of R&D. You’ll always have your eye on the customer journey and conversion. You’ll have a proven track record in channel diversification and a long history of leading high-performing teams.
In this role, you’ll:

Wholesale own, optimize, and scale our search strategy, including both paid and organic, with a relentless focus on balancing CAC and LTV.
-
Be data-first in everything you do. Review our data capabilities and make sure we’re set up for best-in-class targeting – and maximum ROI.
-
Remain focussed on diversification, constantly on the lookout for (a) existing channels we can optimize or (b) new channels, partners, formats we can enter. You’ll then test, prove, and scale these into profitable acquisition engines.

Analyze, track, report, and forecast on key performance metrics, identifying areas of opportunity for program performance across all online acquisition channels to support the company’s growth targets and drive future strategies
-
Serve as a critical thought partner to the Viator Executive team and other senior leaders on adapting our performance marketing strategies as our business evolves
-
Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and outside-in thinking on best and evolving practices, and ensure the team is constantly at the edge of the newest high-potential opportunities or ways of working
-
Deeply understand how marketplace businesses work, and you’ll fluently speak the language of our engineers, product managers, analysts, and data scientists.
-
Lead and grow a high-performing team of search and growth marketers
-
Be a highly collaborative partner to our marketing leaders across brand, R&D, CRM, content and more.
To be successful, you’ll need to be:
- An expert on Google – organic, paid, legacy, and new programs

A team builder and inspiring leader, with excellent collaboration and engagement management skills. Proven success working cross-functionally and in remote-first settings
-
Experienced in managing profitable nine-figure budgets across search channels, including organic, paid, and emerging

A proven growth marketer with success in identifying new channels and formats and turning them into scalable, profitable ones
