Job Description.

Huge is seeking a VP of Data Science (AI) to help drive innovation and opportunities that will continue pushing the envelope for deterministic and generative AI solutions and deliver impactful results for our clients. To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate executive-level consultative skills while remaining at the forefront of the latest AI innovations and emerging developments in the field of data science.

What you’ll be doing.

• Regularly collaborate across multidisciplinary teams at Huge and consult with external client teams that need guidance.
• Spearhead data-driven AI initiatives for our clients in partnership with technology and creative colleagues to complete tasks quickly and effectively. 
• Serve as a consultative guide to senior executives by developing and shaping data strategies, provide insights, and define the structures to ensure the right data informs decisions that impact intelligence experiences. 
• Be comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrate an entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset, quickly ramping up when faced with specific business challenges and working with limited inputs and guidance. 
• Building solutions in Python and developing and consulting on machine learning solutions.
• Guiding, coaching, and managing data scientists and data engineers while working closely with designers, strategists, technologists, and a range of complementary disciplines across Huge

What we’d like to see.

• At least 8+ years of experience in strategy/management consulting, marketing, advertising or a relevant industry that uses advanced analytical capabilities. 
• Proficiency in Python and Google Cloud Platform - Vertex AI, AWS - SageMaker, Snowflake - Cortex or equivalent.
• Experience working in a consultative manner that breaks down complex ideas to communicate and present succinct, compelling briefings to C-level leadership who are not Data Scientists.
• Ability to liaison with senior data leaders on the client side as a trusted partner and advisor.
• Experience having led and delivered complex projects and teams end-to-end, from concept development to implementation.
• Ability to take disparate data sources (structured & unstructured) and develop methods that produce models and algorithms that handle tasks, parameters or optimizations to generate an evaluation output.
• Ability to deliver solutions such as regression analysis for prediction, classification for sentiment analysis, clustering and retrieval of content, matrix factorization & dimensionality reduction for recommendations, and utilization of deep learning.
• Understanding of how data science adds value to an organization through improved products, services, and processes, leading to increased revenue and competitive advantage.
• An appreciation and understanding for creativity and ethical, human-centered design.
