Your Mission

As VP Corporate Performance Management (CPM) (m/f/x), you and your team will significantly contribute to the sustainable growth and vision of sevdesk. Here's how you'll make an impact:

  • Based on the corporate vision, you will work actively with the entire management team to develop and implement our winning corporate strategy as part of the management team
  • You will be responsible for the data-based analysis, planning, and management of our company's growth, starting from vision and strategy through to operational implementation.
  • You are responsible for the purpose, the vision and strategy for your team derived from our corporate strategy as well as the creation and implementation of roadmaps including quarterly milestones together with your team.
  • You are responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the central CPM team working closely together with data analysts embedded into functional teams.
  • You partner with and advise all teams across the organization on how to improve their contribution to our company goals.
  • You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and continuously improving an integrated, driver-based financial model in collaboration with all sevdesk teams.
  • You will build a scalable planning and simulation platform for management and our teams, which enables us to quickly and flexibly compare different scenarios and derive measures for their implementation.
  • You will work closely with the Data & Analytics team to leverage the usage of data and analytics methods as well as AI-based technologies.
  • You are responsible for management and investor reporting.
  • You work on the design and implementation of financing rounds and are a key driver in due diligence processes as well as M&A processes from a financial perspective.
  • You will continuously develop and optimize all CPM structures and processes as well as the associated IT systems and realize the potential of automation to increase efficiency.


Your Qualification:

  • You combine your high level of analytical expertise with a strong systemic way of thinking and acting.
  • You have at least 5 years of management experience in a digital company, ideally in the fintech sector, with a deep understanding of fast-growing, product-driven SaaS business models; alternatively, you have comparable experience at a top consulting firm or VC fund.
  • You also have strong knowledge and practical application experience in corporate performance management, ideally from within a growth company.
  • You have a degree in businesss, economics, business informatics, or a comparable course of study, preferably with an international focus.
  • Ideally, you have experience with the introduction of planning and simulation tools such as e.g. Jedox, Anaplan, Board, Adaptive Planning, LucaNet, Pigment, Abacum, Mosaic, Valsight, or ValQ and have also successfully used BI tools in the context of CPM.
  • You are an excellent communicator and have already played a significant and successful role in shaping high company growth in a cross-functional CPM organization.
