What will you be doing?
Did you know that Argus Crude Oil pricing has been entrenched in the global markets since 1979?
Our crude benchmarks are widely adopted in commercial contracts, internal transfer pricing, tax formulae and economic modelling used by governments, traders, refiners, exchanges, and financial institutions.
We are seeking a Business Development Vice President, Crude Oil, to help shape our aggressive growth ambitions across Asia. This senior, very high-profile position is pivotal to Argus' global success. You will be self-driven and able to work in a dynamic environment, with an ability to communicate and present at all levels of the business.
The primary responsibility of this experienced marketer is to have a constant dialogue with existing and potential clients to maintain and further develop our Crude Oil subscriptions. The role is highly technical, and the successful candidate must understand the Crude Oil markets. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote Argus price assessments in commercial contracts, transfer pricing, financial reporting, etc.

Key Responsibilities
The role does not carry a sales target. Instead, the critical measure of success in this role is to encourage a shift in the market towards using the clients’ price references in the petroleum products markets and to support the clients’ position in markets where it is already established and recognised as the key reference.
