What You’ll Do/Responsibilities
You will lead Ad Sales Research for Spotter, overseeing the provision of strategic and tactical research support to the Spotter Ads sales team, in order to establish and fortify marketplace awareness and excitement around Spotter and the creator economy. You will be chiefly responsible for helping our sellers answer the question “Why Spotter?”, empirically corroborating Spotter’s singular ability to attract and influence hard-to-reach, finely targeted, and hyper-engaged audiences at scale.
You’ll do this through utilizing a combination of primary and syndicated research methodologies to furnish quantitative and qualitative data for prospective and current agency and brand clients. You’ll work together with Ad Sales Marketing and Sales leadership to continuously refine Spotter’s strategic positioning, external messaging and sales materials in service of driving revenue growth for and enhancing the industry-wise image of Spotter within the advertising and media investment community.
You will leverage existing and identify – even build – new approaches to quantify, interpret, report, and contextualize the performance of advertising across Spotter content. The Head of Spotter Ad Sales Research & Insights will partner with our leading clients and agencies to help measure the effectiveness of their investments in our platform. In addition, this role will align with key cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Ad Ops, Planning, and Analytics to ensure that clients and agencies have best-in-class support.

Why Spotter
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $200K-$500K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual discretionary bonus and equity.
