We are looking for a VMS Payments Manager with a strong background in payments or financial services to form an integral part of our VMS team, leading multiple payments work streams within key Visa clients in Central Europe. What we expected of you, day to day:
Working closely with both client and Visa personnel, the VMS Payments Manager will have accountability for ensuring the delivered project outcomes are aligned against both the clients and Visa’s objectives across all aspects of delivery. This will include:
- Managing and/or supporting the delivery of client engagements in the cards and payments space, ensuring the project achieves the required outcomes. This may involve leading a small team of Client and / or 3rd party resources, depending on the size of the assignment.
- Working with key business collaborators to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems to achieve final technology/business solution
- Supporting Business and new product development to ensure continued market leadership, including being an excellent partner with IT in terms of preparing and owning Business Requirements for new products
- Producing insights, analyses and recommendations to improve Client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic direction towards client priorities across verticals and segments
- Identifying opportunities and improvements to grow the business of our clients
- Delivering reports and presentations regarding recommended approaches
- Liaising with various Visa team members and parties where appropriate to boost teamwork and knowledge sharing
- Building and retaining Visa Consulting relationships with our client
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site).
What we’re after…
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience
- Passionate and intrinsically motivated self-starter and team player with a strong track record in achieving goals
- Knowledge and experience of the payments business and/or cards business
- Ability to develop innovative approaches to complicated business problems
- Ability to collaborate closely with multiple partners at various levels within the business
- Results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently. High levels of integrity and business ethics
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Fluent in Dutch and English - both verbally and written
- Implementation experience across any number of scheme related areas, including the implementation of Visa and 3rd party digital products and APIs, portfolio management, campaign management, ownership and management of payment and card business products and segments – highly desirable but not essential
