Waracle is looking for a Visual Designer to join us on a permanent basis.
This is a mostly remote hybrid role working from any of our offices in the UK (Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh or London)
We are looking for a talented and creative Visual Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting visually stunning and highly functional user interfaces for web and mobile platforms. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate ideas and requirements into engaging, intuitive designs that enhance user experience.
As a Visual Designer your duties will include:
User Interface Design:
Design visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and provide a consistent, high-quality visual experience across platforms.
Define and design the motion design for the UI
Prototyping & Interaction Design:
Develop interactive prototypes and UI mockups that clearly illustrate the functionality of interfaces.
Design user flows and interactions that enhance usability and engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the feasibility and alignment of design with project goals.
Participate in design reviews and ensure smooth handoff to development teams.
Design Systems & Visual Consistency:
Contribute to design and maintain design systems to ensure visual consistency across projects.
Ensure that UI components and assets are reusable and scalable across different platforms and products.
Iteration & Feedback:
Incorporate feedback from usability testing, stakeholders, and users to refine and improve designs.
Continually iterate on designs to meet both user and business needs.
Client Interaction & Presentation:
Present UI concepts and design solutions to clients, explaining how they meet user needs and business goals.
Gather and incorporate client feedback throughout the design process.
Motion design (bonus):
2d and or 3d motion design is a nice to have, being able to bring concepts and narratives to life through motion
Visual branding (bonus):
Define the visual direction for a brand and or product
