Role & missions – What you will do 🚀

We are seeking an experienced and passionate VIP Program Manager to lead and manage the VIP program for our growing mobile casual/puzzle game. The ideal candidate will drive player retention, boost monetization, and enhance the overall experience for high-spending players through personalized rewards, exclusive offers, and exceptional support. As the VIP Program Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of the VIP program, while working closely with product, marketing, customer support, and analytics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the VIP program: Design and implement tiered loyalty programs based on player behavior, spending, and engagement. Continuously evolve the program to keep high-value players engaged.
  • Player Segmentation and Engagement: Work closely with data and analytics teams to identify and segment VIP players. Create personalized engagement strategies for each tier to drive long-term loyalty.
  • Rewards and Incentives: Oversee the creation of exclusive in-game rewards, such as skins, boosters, events, and offers tailored to high spenders. Manage VIP-exclusive content and special events.
  • Customer Support Oversight: Ensure that VIP players receive priority customer service. Work with the support team to streamline responses and ensure timely and effective resolutions for high-value players.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, game designers, and developers to create promotions and exclusive content for VIP players. Work with product teams to tailor game features and challenges for the VIP segment.
  • Monitor and Report KPIs: Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as retention rates, lifetime value (LTV), revenue per user (ARPU), and customer satisfaction. Provide detailed reports and insights to leadership.
  • Program Optimization: Continuously optimize the VIP program through A/B testing, player feedback, and data-driven insights. Implement changes to improve player retention and revenue generation.

Requirements

About you – Who you are 🦄

At least 3–5 years of experience in managing player loyalty programs, VIP programs, or community engagement within the mobile gaming industry, particularly in casual or puzzle genres.

  • Strong understanding of player retention, engagement, and monetization strategies.
  • Ability to work with data analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Google Analytics, Braze, or Leanplum) to track performance and optimize programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams and VIP players.
  • Experience in managing customer support teams, ensuring VIP players receive exceptional service.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to design and execute engaging rewards and events.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and tools used for player segmentation and personalized messaging.

Good to have 💪

  • Experience working in mobile casual/puzzle games or with in-app purchases (IAP) in a freemium model.
  • A strong passion for creating exceptional experiences for players, particularly VIPs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Comfort with data analysis to drive decisions and optimize VIP player experiences.
  • An innovative mindset for creating unique rewards and incentives to keep VIP players engaged.
