THE OPPORTUNITY
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop high-quality mobile experiences with React Native for iOS and Android.
● Write test methods as a feature of your codebase, and not just a deployment
requirement. Manually test your work before you forward it for testing.
● Maintain and refactor existing code, write tests, and resolve bugs.
● Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and use development collaboration tools
such as JIRA.
● Interact with the Product Owner to clarify implementation details and business
requirements.
● Work both independently and collaboratively with your team to deliver solutions that
meet design expectations and acceptance criteria.
● Use Git/GitHub on each project and practice team development using pull requests.
Required:
● 5+ years of software development experience having a focus on front-end & back-end
development.
● 3+ years of experience developing Native React mobile applications.
● Experience and familiarity with native build tools like XCode, IntelliJ, Android Studio etc.
● Leverage native API’s for deep integrations with both platforms.
● Experience working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency
conflicts.
● Experience with automated testing.
● Experience working in an Agile development team.
● Experience releasing to the Apple & Google Play Stores.
● Familiarity with and ability to effectively use online collaboration tools, with Google suite
preferred.
● Ability to independently work remotely; occasional on-site travel may be required
(5-10%).
