1. Therapeutic Area Strategy
- Visualize and understand the patient’s journey within each therapeutic area, identifying key touchpoints, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of therapeutic area strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Provide therapeutic area insights and recommendations to support product development, launch strategies, and life-cycle management.
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure therapeutic area strategies are integrated into overall brand plans and initiatives.
2. Therapeutic Area Education
- Develop patient-centric initiatives and programs that enhance treatment access and support patient education within each therapeutic area.
- Identify and prioritize education gaps among healthcare professionals related to each therapeutic area.
- Develop and implement education initiatives such as medical symposia, advisory boards, continuing education programs, and digital tools/materials.
- Disseminate relevant knowledge about each therapeutic area to enhance healthcare professionals' understanding and patient care.
3. Therapeutic Area Projects
- Gather insights on patient pain points and health system gaps within each therapeutic area.
- Explore and propose sustainable and cost-effective solutions to address these gaps, working with healthcare partners and stakeholders.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, KOLs, and regulatory bodies.
- Gather insights, share therapeutic area-related information, and seek advice on various therapeutic area-related matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to understand therapeutic area needs, foster collaborations, and enhance the company's position as a trusted partner.
5. Collaboration and Leadership
- Collaborate with Sales, Field Force Excellence, Marketing and Market Access, and Global Medical Affairs, to ensure alignment and integration of therapeutic area strategies and initiatives.
- Work closely with Medical Affairs to align on research opportunities, scientific publications and pre-registration activities.
- Lead and coordinate projects related to therapeutic area development, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and timely execution.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members. (Others)
- To work on other assigned task(s) from country head and senior managers as necessary for company’s objective.
- At least a bachelor’s degree in science, Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably with a focus on ophthalmology
- In-depth knowledge of therapeutic areas including Glaucoma, Dry Eye and Infection, including the latest research, developments, and trends is preferrable.
- Proven track record in contributing to the development and execution of therapeutic area strategies.
- Strong understanding of educational needs within the therapeutic area and experience in designing and implementing education initiatives.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to identify and address patient pain points and health system gaps.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and build strong professional relationships.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead projects to successful outcomes.
- Passion for improving patient outcomes and driving innovation in healthcare.
- Fluent English, spoken & written
- Ability to travel based on business needs
- Good at the computer as work required
