Video Codec Standard Research Expert

Responsibilities

• Conducting technical standard research for new generation video codecs, including but not limited to H266, outputting technical research reports and PCT international patents.

• Technical standard promotion in the field of video codec, outputting international technical standard proposals and participating in standard meetings, promoting innovative technical solutions and patent technology landing standards.

• Management of the video codec technical standard research team, including direction planning, goal setting and management of technical standard research and work output.

• Collaboration with research teams in Poland and Shenzhen in China.

Requirements

Must have:

• Research experience in video coding standards, including but not limited to H.26X.

• Very good english communication and writing skills.

Nice to have:

• Participation in video coding group meetings (e.g., MPEG meetings).

• Contributions to video coding standards.

• Ph.D. degree and/or publications in the area of video codecs.
