Schedule: Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30am
Rate: $21-22/hr
The video and media operator will be responsible for checking specification requirements on all incoming videos. Primary responsibilities include:
- Downloading/copying assets
- Prequalifying and transcoding assets
- Asset version control
- Ingesting assets into various systems and communication with Project Managers and Coordinators
- General proficiency in video types, SMPTE timecode, frame rates, codecs, and various video or audio file types is expected.
- Attention to detail, excellent time management and a perfectionist mind-set is paramount in this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent trade specific education
- 2+ years in audio post-production or media service projects for film and tv
- Non-linear video workstation editor skills
- Some basic Pro Tools experience
- Excel and other MS Office application software
- Excellent communication skills over phone and email
- Deep sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with self-direction
- Problem solver with creative and innovative approach and ability to think out of the box
- Outstanding attention to detail
Preferred
- Strong skills with Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with other media applications such as Adobe Suite and Final Cut Pro
Physical Requirements
- Ability to continuously sit in an office chair
- Ability to operate and work in front of a computer in an audio room setting
