Vice President, Partner Marketing

Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and driven individual to join our team as the Vice President, Partner Marketing at Onbe. Reporting directly to the CMO & Head of Corporate Development, you will be responsible for all partner marketing initiatives for the company. This includes channel and partner marketing, and commercialization efforts. As a member of Onbe’s senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner & Channel Marketing: Lead the commercialization efforts for our payments solutions by developing marketing programs and joint channel strategies with clients across our Software, and FI channels. You will work closely with the Account Executive and Sales teams to align marketing initiatives with their sales goals, ensuring the right packaging and go-to-market strategies are in place. Additionally, you will develop and implement channel and partner marketing strategies to drive adoption and revenue growth through our distribution channels:

  • Drive strategic marketing initiatives to accelerate adoption and revenue growth of payout programs among ISV (Independent Software Vendor) and FI (Financial Institution) channel partners.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies tailored to each partner segment, aligning with overall company objectives and partner business models.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to create compelling value propositions, marketing collateral, and sales enablement tools that effectively communicate the benefits of payout programs to partners and their end-users.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations, collaborating on joint marketing efforts and ensuring seamless integration of payout solutions into partner ecosystems.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and partner feedback to continuously refine marketing strategies and identify new opportunities for payout program growth and differentiation.

 

Leadership: Manage a team of partner and channel marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive their professional growth and ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives. As a member of Onbe’s senior leadership team, you will actively contribute to strategic decision-making and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, or a related role in the B2B payments industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving marketing objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills and proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams with strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Resilient and gritty approach to work, with a strong work ethic and the ability to overcome challenges and setbacks.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, embracing new ideas and approaches, and constantly seeking opportunities for personal and professional development.
  • A team player who collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams and fosters a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of payments market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time.

This position is targeted to be based in one of our Hub locations (Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, New York, Atlanta or Boston).
