The Vice President, Global Procurement Solutions will be responsible for building and maintaining

M3GR’s worldwide network of healthcare market research fieldwork partners and vendors.

Main duties will entail the management of suppliers/partners and freelancers by reviewing outsource spend trends to optimize internal resources and budget, aligning procurement team for optimal business performance and meeting financial goals, and ensure compliance cooperation for global vendors and organization by conducting internal and external audits and risk assessment. In addition, the role will support the organization with escalated projects involving partners and negotiate discounts as needed.

The Vice President will contribute to strategic projects including (but not limited to): process improvement, profit maximization, competitive intelligence, and company efficiencies. This is the ideal role for someone who has organization skill, communicates effectively with different levels and departments within the company and maintains positive partner relationships to maximize profitability and internal and external (client) satisfaction.

  • Oversee and assist with building and maintaining M3GR’s worldwide network of healthcare market research fieldwork partners for research projects. This includes freelancers as well as fieldwork agencies for all items needed. Update partner details and rating on the MR system.
  • Manage the vetting and compliance requirements for additional vendors related to programming & hosting, IT, panel building, and other.
  • Initiate, and maintain preferential pricing and rebate schemes and performance with strategic partners, track, and report yearly savings on monthly basis. Identify any changes or trends with partner pricing that will impact client pricing and flag to pricing team(s).
  • Manage internal and external compliance by ensuring MSAs and other required documents are in place with all partners and lead yearly ISO audit for department.
  • Partner with all M3 companies to find common ground for cooperation and support and maximization of preferred partnerships with suppliers, including support for mergers & acquisitions.
  • Work closely with new product development team for competitive intelligence evaluation and market placement and support service line areas as needed.
  • Support and advise Operations, Compliance and Sales team with pricing, feasibility, problem solving and partner solutions outside of normal standard for revenue maximization. When required, take part in strategic project kick offs to identify possible fieldwork issues and most suitable partner for the target.
  • Manage procurement direct reports and coordinate quarterly goals with working group members who are tied back to procurement related functions (under Operations. Legal, Patient). Report and monitor goals and achievements, publish to the organization during monthly/ quarterly meetings.
  • Create global quarterly focus for team based on company needs and performance by using third party spend and forecasting documentation and analysis, along with Executive leadership direction.
  • Manage communication channels and publish partner information or announcements relevant to the organization through agreed communication channels (SharePoint, Teams, Email, etc.)
  • Consult on staff trainings in various topics to improve performance and interdepartmental relationships, focusing on third party costs and profit margin maximization.
  • Lead formal and informal Task Forces as required to help devise, foster solutions implementation, and innovation company wide.
  • Proactively identify strategic projects to drive M3 GR business forward, and independently manage specific strategic projects assigned by leadership and executive team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or equivalent number of years’ experience in market research
  • 5+ years coordinating external fieldwork suppliers in Healthcare Market Research, additional 8+ years in market research industry.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Experience with supplier coordination and negotiation, including within multiple budgets and currencies
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Interest/natural curiosity or previous experience/exposure within the healthcare space
  • Leadership experience - healthcare market research
  • Responsive and able to work well under pressure
  • Good time management and reliable
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Comfortable with new technologies
