MAC has created two powerful platforms to deliver strategic planning insights to clients – ViewFinder™ and SAPPHIRE™. The main duties are to engage with pharmaceutical and life science prospects and clients to establish how each of these two platforms can deliver value for their clinical pipeline assets and in-line brands. This includes acting as the liaison between clients, sales and the consulting team to gather requirements, create proposals, drive new sales, foster existing account growth and provide operational support to deliver solutions to our clients.
Essential Job functions:
Including, but not limited to the following:
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Directly drive increased revenue by enhancing capabilities, and systematically enabling key quantitative revenue drivers.
- Leverage industry contacts and leverage MAC sales team to actively pursue new business/ prospects, present product capabilities to new pharmaceutical and life science clients.
- Actively network within existing client contacts for any new business/prospects.
- Develop insightful proposals and deliver strategic sales communications.
- Provide superior customer service by working internally with Executives, Project Managers, Managing Consultants, and consulting staff to execute project specifications and deliver quality results.
- Attend internal and strategic external client meetings to consult on ViewFinderTM, SAPPHIRETM, Claims Data analytics and other MAC consulting offerings, capabilities, features, and future needs.
- Proactively reach out to clients to understand their unmet/evolving needs.
- Demonstrate expertise in selling and assisting to deliver superior quantitative market research and tracking studies by being highly organized, committed, and meticulous with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Take ownership of work with the intellectual curiosity of client business questions, highly effective problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal skills with proven outcomes.
- Participate in new product development initiatives including brainstorming, feasibility assessments, market opportunity sizing and client launch.
- Abide by firm operating procedures and client policy requirements including pharmacovigilance.
- 10+ years of experience designing & managing global primary market research and business consulting solutions.
- 5+ years of proven business development experience required with pharmaceutical and life science clients.
- Experience in including secondary data analytics in consultancy programs is desired.
- Leadership qualities and able to handle multiple commitments and frequent deadlines.
- Involvement working collaboratively and cross-functionally in a team-based environment including market research, business analytics, marketing, and brand management personnel.
- Detailed understanding of drug development, business commercialization, and marketing processes in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in developing productized research solutions is desired but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing, to a wide variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior marketing executives.
