The Position:
We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Growth Operations to lead and scale our growth initiatives. This role will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading high-performing teams, executing strategic growth plans, and delivering exceptional results. A Senior Director interested in moving into a Vice President role will also be considered.
Role Specific Duties:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with the company's CGO’s overall business objectives.
- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities, including new market penetration and strategic partnerships.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee and optimize operational processes to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track progress.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales, proposals capture and business development team.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Address customer concerns and issues promptly and effectively.
- Recruit, hire, and develop a talented team of growth professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or relayed field.
- Must have experience leading a team that encapsulates BD, Capture, Proposal.
- 10+ years of experience in growth operations, capture, proposals sales, or business development, preferably in the federal systems integration industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of the federal government procurement process.
- Experience with CRM and sales enablement tools, extremely proficient with Excel and presentation slides, must be able to perform analysis on growth numbers.
- Candidates MUST reside in the Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia (DMV) metropolitan area.
