The VP, Global Corporate Communications will be responsible for overseeing Global Corporate Communications, including strategy, development and execution of proactive communications programs to raise awareness of Ultragenyx, its marketed drugs, its deep and growing pipeline across multiple modalities, therapeutic areas and global geographies. This individual will also be responsible for media and public relations, and alignment with investor relations, corporate strategy, patient advocacy, internal communications, and government affairs, via collaboration with functional stakeholders. They will contribute to company branding, employer branding and messaging strategy and execution as well as designing and coordinating the global digital / social media vision for the company across many channels of activity within the company. This individual will work closely and collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team (XLT).
Flex: This role will typically require onsite work 2-3 days each week, or more depending on business needs. In many locations, the business will set certain days each week that Flex employees are required to be onsite.
The typical annual salary range for this full-time position is listed below. This range reflects the characteristics of the job, such as required skills and qualifications and is based on the office location noted in this job posting. The range may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible for annual bonus and equity incentives. Actual individual pay is determined by demonstrated experience and internal equity alignment.
