Vice President, Financial Advisory

The Vice President of Financial Advisory is a critical member of the relationship management team for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, helping to serve their increasingly complex needs across investments, tax/estate planning and structuring, and life management & advisory services. This role sits within ICONIQ Investment Management which strives to deliver exceptional investment portfolios by harnessing the differentiated capital and strategic strength of the ICONIQ community.             

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Serves as the key member of relationship management team and point of contact for clients.
  • Monitor client investment performance and manage quarterly portfolio reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Exercise a deep understanding of portfolio construction, asset classes, investment products, macroeconomics, client customizations, and professional communication.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses for clients’ financial and estate planning needs.
  • Maintain relationships with Trust & Estate attorneys, collaborate closely with them to drive strategy and then to communicate it to the clients.
  • Oversees CPA relationships, ensuring all information is provided in a timely manner and that planning opportunities are proactively evaluated.
  • Direct involvement with leadership and managerial oversight of Family Office team.

 

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • 8+ years of relevant professional services experience.
  • Passion for investment management and client service.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough.
  • Superior communication and analytical skills.
  • Highly motivated, trustworthy, intellectually curious, and mature.
  • Excellent academic background (minimum of bachelor’s degree required) and strong cognitive ability.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our San Francisco office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.

 

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $200,000 - $250,000 together with the benefits listed above.
