Vice President, Client Leadership

You will be the strategic liaison for our clients, internal teams, and other partner agencies. You will promote creatively thoughtful work, be a true partner to clients, demonstrate experience with the brand and category (specifically, a client focused on innovation and creative marketing technologies). You have experience navigating a global, integrated account leadership team and have worked with global brands in the past.

You will report into the SVP, Client Leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and sustain relationships with senior-level clients, and become our client's trusted strategic partner
  • You will the brand's strategy with partners including internal and external agencies
  • Experience leading teams through strategic development and creative ideation
  • Think collaboratively and use different capabilities in the agency to present client brand-building opportunities and agency-building initiative
  • Increase account growth, while establishing integrated cross functional teams
  • Oversee all account operations as it relates to the business of the agency
  • Identify client issues and work with our agency partners to provide solutions
  • Provide honest and valuable counsel to agency team
  • Collaborate with agency partners as an IAT leader
  • Create applicable development plans for direct reports and junior team members
  • You will have direct reports in this role ranging from Account Executive through Account Director levels
  • Empower teams through engaging career development practices; maximize learning and productivity while minimizing turnover
  • Inspire agency and client confidence and seek opportunities to promote our client relationship
  • Fuel agency culture and progress
  • In partnership with Portfolio Lead/EVP/SVP oversees client financials and account profitability
  • Analyze P&L statements and takes necessary action to ensure profitability
  • Provide leadership on agency delivery; ensure all deliverables are produced on time, on budget, and meet our client's expectations
  • You will be responsible for aligning the brand's strategy with both internal and external partners, including agencies, ensuring consistent execution across all performance marketing channels
  • Lead teams in the strategic development and creative ideation process, ensuring that creative testing and creative assets are optimized for performance. 
  • Understand tools and technology to automate creative workflows, scaling creative production across email, digital, video, and site, while maintaining brand integrity.
  • You will help analyze creative performance across channels (email, digital, video, and site) to provide actionable insights and optimize campaigns. 
  • Work with the strategy team to drive data-informed decision-making to improve efficiency and effectiveness of creative executions.
  • Collaborate across different capabilities within the agency, bringing together creative, media, and technology teams to present brand and results driving opportunities and drive agency-building initiatives. Build and lead integrated cross-functional teams that deliver on both brand and performance goals.
  • Minimum 10 years of integrated agency account management experience
  • Minimum 8 years experience as an account team leader/senior client advisor
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior supervisory role
  • Project management expert
  • Experience empowering, keeping teams on track, and participating in professional development of staff
  • Experience with financial planning and revenue forecasting
  • Experience in complex categories / rigorous corporate image businesses
  • Expertise in performance creative, including the experience with creative automation and creative performance analysis across channels (email, digital, video, and site) and management of creative testing learning agendas.
  • Experience with how brand strategy translates into performance marketing channels.
  • Ability to interpret creative performance data and translate it into actionable strategies.

This is a hybrid position, with the office location being in San Francisco, CA.

You are expected to commute to The Bay Area.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $113,000 - $182,850 / year.

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
