Role Description
Visa is seeking a transformational leader with deep product management experience for the role of Vice President, Acceptance Solutions Product Platform. This is a critical leadership role that will drive the democratization and expanded access to payment services, making them accessible to a broadening array of constituents across the commerce ecosystem. This leader will set the strategic direction and commercialize our global payment management platform, connecting millions of merchants and hundreds of partners world-wide. The role requires strategic collaboration with both internal and external ecosystem stakeholders to enable clients and partners to accelerate development of acceptance solutions via a rich set of modular services accessible through a common platform.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead a global team and collaborate with cross-functional leaders on product innovation initiatives to drive growth. This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and reports to the SVP, Global Head of Product for Visa Acceptance Solutions.
Responsibilities
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
• 12 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 15+ years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD).
• 15+ years of experience leading a global, distributed, product management organization within a high growth business.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms. Experience in product design of highly available, resilient, and scalable transaction-based systems.
• Deep technical competence. Demonstrated ability to drive strategies and collaborate with technical leaders on platform capabilities in the areas of scalability, latency and cloud deployment.
• Payments industry knowledge and acceptance solutions expertise.
• Experience in growing and developing a technology partner ecosystem.
• Demonstrated ability to drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap execution.
• Executive presence with an ability to influence and work hands-on with product, technology, and other cross-functional team leaders.
• Strong communicator with the ability to clearly articulate complex business and technical concepts in a simple and intuitive way.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen. Results oriented with the ability to prioritize across multiple initiatives.
• Experience working in Agile framework and matrixed organizations. Applied experience in defining, implementing, and continually improving product management processes, utilizing industry best practices.
• Applied change management experience in the adoption of modern product management practices and GenAI productivity enhancement capabilities.
• Customer-centric mindset with strong customer collaboration and management skills.
• Demonstrated experience in attracting, retaining, and developing teams of high-performing product managers within a diverse and inclusive environment.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 247,300 to 386,300 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
