Vetcall Mudgeeraba have a unique opportunity for a highly motivated Vet Nurse on a Full time/Part time basis.
The team recently won the AU/NZ Clinic of the year across our network of 270 clinics and are looking for someone to join our award-winning team.
Vetcall Mudgeeraba is a very popular clinic with a strong following of clients from all over the Gold Coast. The clinic works on 4-5 vets per day and is supported by a nursing team of various skills and experience and a dedicated three strong client relations/reception team.
Our supportive team consists of 6 Vets, 10 Nurses/Receptionists and our highly skilled UK Qualified Head Vet Nurse. Our Practice Manager has 20 years’ experience and is focused on collaborative and inclusive work, wellbeing, and high standards of care.
We are a super friendly bunch who enjoys the beach, hiking, dining and a game of tennis together from time to time.
Our clinic has an interesting case load with semi-rural clients. We see a lot of emergent and complicated cases where our highly skilled nurses perform a lot of triage consulting. We have a shared rotating roster of Theatre, Hospital, Non-Sterile Procedures and Consulting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certificate IV Vet Nurse or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
2+ years’ experience post qualification
Confident in IV, blood drawing, imaging and anaesthesia
Knowledge of Ezyvet and Vet Radar would be advantageous but not necessary
Proven rapport building skills with colleagues, clients and the community
