With one of our lovely Nurses off on maternity leave, the rare opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Nurse to join our busy Flagstaff clinic on a 12-month fixed term contract. The right candidate will have a commitment and passion for high-level patient and client care and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
 
We have a great reputation and have serviced the community for many years from the Flagstaff Shopping Centre. Our team consists of two full time vets and 4 nursing support staff. We are also supported by the wider Hamilton Pet Doctors community of Hillcrest, Dinsdale and Tristram Street. Our teams pride themselves on high standards of care and exceptional customer service. 
 
This role will cover 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, including rostered Saturdays.

  • Relevant Veterinary Nurse qualifications
  • A hard-working and a hands-on approach to your work
  • An ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of the team

  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved at all levels, with energy and drive
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
