As a Vertical Marketing Senior Specialist, you will help support the strategic and execution needs of assigned vertical markets, driving targeted marketing programs that enhance Experian's presence and influence. You will have a blend of strategy and hands-on execution to develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Specialty Adjacent Markets, you'll collaborate with team members across sales, product, product marketing and the broader integrated marketing teams to increase growth and implement go-to-market plans.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Program Calendar Management: Contribute to the development of marketing strategies for your assigned markets, aligning with our goals. Partner with sales, product, and teams to gather insights to help create a cohesive marketing program calendar that support both sales enablement and customer engagement. Support the annual Vertical Market Opportunity Analysis (VMOA) for assigned markets.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay informed on industry trends, customer needs and competitive positioning, using insights to inform marketing campaigns and refine strategy.
Content & Asset Development: Collaborate with product, product marketing, sales, and greater marketing functions, including content, design, web, and demand gen teams to create relevant marketing assets (e.g., white papers, case studies, blogs, email campaigns, social content) that engage target audiences within each vertical.
Event Marketing: Build marketing and promotional plans for industry events, webinars and conferences relevant to assigned vertical markets to create pre-event buzz, follow up after the event, and ensure messaging and value align with the Experian brand.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Assess your respective campaign metrics, evaluate effectiveness and pinpoint optimization opportunities. Support the Vertical Marketing team by organizing regular performance reporting, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and additional reporting needs.
