Your Mission

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Venture Associate to play a key role in leading our Danish division in Copenhagen toward continued growth and success. The ideal candidate is driven, structured, hands-on and with the natural ability to build trust and connection with people.

CVX always invests with and through the best angels for the particular founder. Today, we have over 600 angel investor partners in CVX that invest in and support companies they can add a value-adding difference to. CVX currently consists of 20 ambitious and talented individuals in Copenhagen, London, Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki. 

What You Will Do

• Define and execute your strategy and continuously adjust
• Lead potential acquisitions
• Be responsible for rapidly building a large and value adding pool of partners
• Find and attract the best investment cases
• Lead end-to-end investment deals from deal sourcing to investment
• Represent CVX at events, gatherings, conferences, etc     
• Report into the CEO.

What We Expect From You

• High work ethic with a strong sense of urgency             
• Unusually strong drive and desire to be the best at what you do
• 3+ years of experience ideally in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, high-growth startups or fast-paced environments
• Proactive approach and take ownership of everything you do
• Deep interest in the venture capital and start-up space, with a passion for analyzing and investing in companies     
• People-oriented with the ability to bring people together
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at management and board level
• Ability to win the trust of business leaders 
• Outstanding analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets
• Natural ability to sell and work with sales on a strategic as well as an operative level
• Strong leadership skills and we ideally see that you have led and managed teams in the past
• Fluency in Danish and English
• Preferably, a network in the Danish start-up ecosystem.
