Builder.ai is looking for a Vendor Relationship Manager to source, grow and manage our "supply chain" of software development partners (dev, design & test) throughout the UK, EU and MENA.

About the role
The Vendor Relationship Manager sits within The Capacity Network group, which responsible for managing our global ‘Supply Chain’ of software development partners (Capacity Network Partners) who support us in delivering customer software. This group is one of our most critical business lines and assets that we have and our demand for Capacity Partners is growing everyday! We are growing not just in numbers but globally, in diversification, with the need to operate 24-hours a day.

What we are looking for
We are looking for a Vendor Relationship Manager who will be able to source new Capacity Network Partners, manage these relationships on a day to day basis and help us create a Capacity Network brand and community. You will work with our AI, Delivery, and Product teams in achieving the goal of ensuring we have the right supply of Experts needed to meet our growing demand of customer projects, and in managing our partner relationships to feel like they're part of Builder.

Requirements

  • Have a solid understanding of which software development partners are available in your region and have a strategy for targeting them to partner with us. Your focus will be on partners with offering Developers (with React JS, React Native, Ruby on Rails), Designers (with Sketch/Figma) and Manual QA experts but others may also be required
  • Experience sourcing and managing vendors across the UK, EU and MENA
  • Negotiate and onboard these software development partners into the Capacity Network where they will be known as Capacity Network Partners
  • Negotiate contracts and rate cards
  • Manage day to day risks with our Capacity Network within your region and communicate with other regional managers to manage the global network collectively
  • Manage all escalations and take ownership of all major incidents and effectively communicate to all stakeholders
  • Help create a Capacity Network brand and community to make our Experts feel like they are part of something bigger


Other requirements

  • 5+ years of vendor management or relationship management experience
  • Someone who has built software or been part of a team that has
  • Acute understanding of the “customer” and how our actions and inaction impact them
