Vehicle Homologation Analyst (PCD)

Responsabilities

  • Understanding needs of customers to develop and to maintain homologation business and promoting homologation sales by supporting Applus IDIADA’s sales workforce
  • Technical validation according to United Nation, European and other countries regulatory acts
  • Contact with Brazilian (CETESB / IBAMA / DENATRAN) and international authorities as being in touch with the experts in headquarter in order to clarify doubts.
  • To manage projects regarding homologations (coordination and execution of activities –for instance, witness tests, prepare quotation, project follow-up, definition of targets, proposals for getting the target, etc)

 

Profile 

  • Strong customer and service orientation, with high level of initiative and proactive approach.
  • Detailed in the preparation of technical documentation and test reports
  • Facility to understand and manage technical standards
  • Willingness to travel more than 50% of time, also including worldwide trips
  • Familiar with vehicle system (passive safety, active safety, powertrain, etc)
  • Able to work on an entrepreneurial, dynamic and very international environment, with daily contact with foreign colleagues
  • With high level of commitment with the responsibilities assigned and high identification with corporate objectives
  • Good communication skills (able to teach clients about technical requirements).
  • Confident with the ability to convince through technical arguments.
  • Availability to travel 
  • Automotive Homologation Experience

Education

Engineering Degree, other education can be accepted, since demonstrate with legislation / standards.

Language skills

English fluent (mandatory) and Spanish basic

Portuguese Native or Fluent
