We are looking for a UX Researcher to join our design team, ideally with 3 to 5 years of experience. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in shaping the direction of our internal and customer-facing products. By conducting research, leading workshops, collaborating with diverse teams, and conducting usability studies and interviews, you'll uncover the needs of our users. Additionally, you'll champion change, present findings both verbally and in writing, analyze qualitative and quantitative data and contribute to enhancing the overall user experience by making it more intuitive, accessible, and seamless.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth user research to uncover insights and identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to gather stakeholder input and align on design objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user-centered design principles into product development processes.
- Plan and execute usability studies, interviews, surveys, and other research methods to validate design decisions and iterate on product designs.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to derive actionable insights and recommendations.
- Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring that user needs are prioritized and addressed.
- Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear and compelling formats.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in UX research and design, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our UX processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience conducting UX research in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in a variety of research methods including user interviews, usability testing, and survey design.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in UX research tools and tactics.
- A strong portfolio showcasing past research projects and their impact on product design and development.
