We are looking for a UX Developer to join our team to develop and deploy solutions for the integrated servicing portal. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in UX development, with preference given to those with experience in the Financial industry to navigate regulatory and compliance complexities effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support robust software applications and services with high-quality standards
- Implement the user interface and interactions, ensuring that the design is functional, responsive, and accessible
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feature requirements, design user interfaces, and implement solutions that meet business objectives
- Actively participate in the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Contribute to the optimization of user workflows and system performance through continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards, providing constructive feedback to fellow Engineers
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years in professional software development
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/Sass/Less
- Experience with component-centric web development
- Familiarity with modern frameworks like React, Angular, and RxJS
- Basic understanding of Node.js and asynchronous programming concepts
- Knowledge of software development life cycle best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, agile methodologies, and CI/CD strategies
- Practical experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, Puppeteer, and Cypress
- Proficient use of code versioning tools, particularly Git
- Previous experience delivering user experiences aligned with design systems
- Passion for finance and familiarity with portfolio management concepts
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and effective time management abilities
