UX designer

If you're a Prague-based UX designer with 3-5 years of enterprise design experience, an impressive portfolio, and a strong interest in life science, let’s talk. 

We're looking for a UX designer to join the DNAnexus UX team.

As a DNAnexus UX designer, you’ll design features that empower scientists, doctors, and bioinformaticians to develop new treatments for serious diseases. You’ll design data visualizations, product integrations, and help build and test prototypes. You’ll work with your UX colleagues to flesh out and maintain our patterns library. And at every step, you’ll partner with, learn from, and be inspired by your coworkers - a talented and experienced team of developers, product managers, scientists, designers, and writers.

• 3-5+ years of experience in enterprise UX design
• Impressive UX design portfolio
• Strong interest in medicine, healthcare, or science - especially biology, genetics, or bioinformatics
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of user-centered design
• Graduate of a top HCI, Interaction Design, or other UX program
• Proficient in some or all of the following: Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Invision
• Understanding of front-end development and Agile process
• A curiosity and passion for crafting amazing experiences
• An ability to dive into the details but also step back and see the bigger picture
• An ability to work independently
