Due to recent significant growth, Aiimi is recruiting for a User Researcher to join our professional services team where you will assist us in the use of technology to solve complex business problems both for our organisation and our clients. You will help us understand our customers, and their users, and what can be improved to better meet their needs.
The User Researcher will be responsible for helping define and drive the future of our customer’s products. You will reveal what users need by conducting research, working with cross-functional teams, and performing usability studies.
A day in the life of a Aiimi User Researcher:
- Plan, design, and conduct user research that focuses on user needs within both B2B and consumer environments.
- Work with senior stakeholders to understand user needs as well as business requirements and objectives.
- Drive user research activities and playback outputs to team and stakeholders as required.
- Plan and facilitate user research sessions with internal and external users and other stakeholders.
- Work within and collaborate with the UX and wider product teams to bring them on the research journey with you.
- Understanding, analysing and articulating user needs to help identify key themes and actionable findings as well as build up rich insights into user behaviours.
- Usability testing planning and facilitation (of early-stage concepts through to prototypes and products).
Requirements
- Experience carrying out user research using agile methodologies.
- Experience working within a digital delivery squad.
- Experience in business tools and software.
- Experience using Azure DevOps.
- A proactive approach where you push forward with ideas, build momentum and keep the team and customer stakeholders engaged.
- Understanding of the bigger picture and how an individual digital experience works as part of a larger customer experience ecosystem.
- Ability to communicate research findings through presentations, show and tell, and formal reports.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills; you will need to be comfortable working on multiple work streams.
